Disney World is the most popular vacation destination on earth and grows more popular each year. The introduction of Star Wars Land in late 2019 is only going to bring an added influx of guests to Orlando. Despite these crowds, you can still stay out of long lines and enjoy your vacation! How? There are a number of ways that we’ve outlined in our article on “Beating the Crowds at Disney World”. Our focus in this article is on Disney World touring plans. What is a touring plan? Why do you need one? Read on and we’ll answer those questions, and get you the touring plan that is right for you.

What is a touring plan?

If you’re going to the beach, it’s unlikely that you need a plan. You’re going to wake up, pack your cooler, stroll to the beach and relax. Disney World is totally different. Without proper planning, you’ll spend all day in lines. If you hate lines, you’ll spend all day complaining about the lines, get annoyed, and head back to your hotel! Proper planning is a must! I’ve met so many people who hate Disney World because of the long lines and the large crowds. This is one of the reasons I started this website.

A touring plan is a general outline of how you want to tour each of the 4 Disney parks. In some of our plans, we get very granular and detailed. You can get just as detailed and map out your entire vacation with a spreadsheet, or you can use these ideas to come up with your own general outline of how you want to approach your vacation. If you’re intimidated by the process, let us do the work for you! If you fill out our personalized questionnaire, we can provide you with a personalized schedule that takes all the guess-work out of the equation!

Our Free Touring Plans

We have a number of free touring plans for you to enjoy. In each of these plans, we try to walk you through a “typical” day of park touring. If you are in a large group, you might find that it’s extremely difficult to get your group to follow this plan. Once you get to Disney, there are many, many things that can happen to disrupt the best plans. But if you have a general outline, you’re better off. Our touring plans will give you logical fastpass choices, show you the importance of getting to the parks early, and help you to see every attraction that is important to you.
